Black Lives Matter

If your first instinct to argue with us, that's okay. There are probably reasons why you have that instinct. It's baked into a lot of so-called "culture", it's very common, but the good news is you can overcome it if you are willing.

Social Justice is our responsibility too.

Hi! Thanks for being an ally in our collective journey towards an equitable society. We are a co-working space and business/networking hub. This page is dedicated to promoting organizations and resources that address inequality; amplifying melanated voices; highlighting the work of black and brown artists and writers; and holding space for folks to share examples of people and companies "getting it right."

This is a work in progress. Please share your constructive criticism. Please share with your friends and community. Please take action.

Alert: Amina is currently in a battle with a toy manufacturer who made a doll based on her image and is refusing to compensate or acknowledge her. Help her here.

As a black woman, historian, and Christian with a passion for truth, authenticity, faith, and just being real, Lettie discusses history, social justice, self-care, race, and whatever else stirs her mind. Her engaging discussions about history provide a fact-based, unique, and simply connected view of complex issues in a time when historical background needs to meet current controversies. In addition, her conversations about self-care and life give a boost of encouragement while showing the importance of holding truths.

On Pod Save the People, organizer and activist DeRay Mckesson explores news, culture, social justice, and politics with fellow activists Brittany Packnett Cunningham and Sam Sinyangwe, and writer Dr. Clint Smith.
