Join us for a regular Wednesday noon gathering at the Red House.
Bring your lunch, we'll have drinks and together we'll listen to a 20-30 minute podcast from entrepreneurs with tips and insights about running their businesses. We'll listen, discuss and then go back out and change the world.
On Wednesday July 24, 12pm join us for The "What Works" podcast hosted by Tara McMillin to learn "What’s Working In Finding New Fans With SEO Coach Kim Herrington." Kim Herrington helps online entrepreneurs and influencers conquer the content creation treadmill with SEO and marketing strategies to build traffic and empower them to achieve their business goals.
You do not have to RSVP, but it would help us if you did.

Candid Conversations about Growing and Running a Small Business
Sometimes you are cleaning up after an event and your heart explodes with excitement and gratitude because you have such wonderful people in your community. That's what happened as we were wrapping up from the Red House Open House yesterday. Huge thank you to everyone who turned out, and brought their energy and ideas to our coworking space. It was a spectacular mixer, that morphed into a relaxed hangout as we dragged chairs around the living room and chatted about potential collaborations and entrepreneurial ideas for the North Coast. We are thrilled to welcome some new members to the fold, and we can't wait to see what they do in the space!
What's the deal with the guest suite?
Because we maintain a private cowork community, the guest suite is only available to Red House members and their invited guests. It's a beautiful two-room suite overlooking the back garden, with a desk, couch, chaise long, and plenty of floor space for yoga or stretching out. North facing skylights let gentle morning light pour in.
The guest suite is the perfect solution for members visiting the coast from inland Mendocino county or the Bay Area, who don't want to loose half the day to driving time or brave the curves of highway 20 in the dark. It's great for people who are hosting a two day workshop or an event downstairs, and don't want to pay local B&B prices or deal with their unreliable wifi.
Digital nomads will rejoice at the rare intersection of comfort, charm, and really really fast internet, allowing the intrepid travel writer, day trader, or free-spirited worker to ACTUALLY GET THEIR WORK DONE. Amazing.
Contact us with any inquiries.
Finally! A place to work on the North Coast with comfy couches and fast internet. The Red House is open and taking applications for monthly membership. We also offer 10 day-pass punchcards for visitors and inland people. (Just use 'em up within a year.)
There's nothing wrong with the local coffee shops, but it can be almost impossible to get any work done with the constant foot traffic and noise, plus your friendly locals who want to chat for 45 minutes. By the time you finally get back to work, you realize you are hungry and you have 27% battery left and the owners have purposefully covered up the electric outlets to discourage lingering. The file you need will take 45 minutes to download because the internet moves at glacial speed. At least you didn't get a parking ticket this time.
Does this experience sound depressingly familiar? We started the Red House to solve a problem many people have on the coast where the only internet available is either prohibitively expensive, or uselessly slow for a modern professional.
Locals will appreciate the combination of desk or couch space, the quiet, and the easy access to plugs. Self-serve coffee and tea are always available, as well as light snacks. We have a full kitchen with fridge, so feel free to bring your lunch.
If you are visiting from out of town you can pre-purchase your day passes and they will be waiting for you upon your arrival. (You can split a punch card between two people if you are only staying a week.)
