Finally! A place to work on the North Coast with comfy couches and fast internet. The Red House is open and taking applications for monthly membership. We also offer 10 day-pass punchcards for visitors and inland people. (Just use 'em up within a year.) 

​There's nothing wrong with the local coffee shops, but it can be almost impossible to get any work done with the constant foot traffic and noise, plus your friendly locals who want to chat for 45 minutes. By the time you finally get back to work, you realize you are hungry and you have 27% battery left and the owners have purposefully covered up the electric outlets to discourage lingering. The file you need will take 45 minutes to download because the internet moves at glacial speed. At least you didn't get a parking ticket this time.

Does this experience sound depressingly familiar? We started the Red House to solve a problem many people have on the coast where the only internet available is either prohibitively expensive, or uselessly slow for a modern professional. 
Locals will appreciate the combination of desk or couch space, the quiet, and the easy access to plugs. Self-serve coffee and tea are always available, as well as light snacks. We have a full kitchen with fridge, so feel free to bring your lunch. 

If you are visiting from out of town you can pre-purchase your day passes and they will be waiting for you upon your arrival. (You can split a punch card between two people if you are only staying a week.)
